People around the world rise up in support of Palestine and Peace
I can feel a numbness, fear and despair from the violence of Netanyahu’s government, and the support of the British and American government.
It can feel like this violence and horror is “how the world is.”
But the way the world has risen up gives my heart hope, and stir, and shows me that what the governemnts are doing don’t reflect, at least not totally, what the people feel (and makes me want to work for more coherence between the views of the people and the people in government and what they do).
There is a life honouring, earth honouring way of living and being; it lives, it is here, it is strong, and people all over the world have risen up over the past 10 months and continue to.
From the River to the Sea, may there be, equal rights, freedom and dignity.
